Questions worth asking before China
Clear answers about personal hosts, individually selected experiences and the practical limits of our coordination service.
1. What exactly does the host do?
Your personal host helps you navigate, communicates locally, keeps the day's bookings and logistics connected, and stays with you for the agreed host hours. The host is not a tour group leader, medical professional or substitute for the licensed provider delivering an experience.
2. How is the trip priced?
Personal host & concierge from $199/day (up to 8 hours). Experiences are quoted individually, arranged at provider prices. Your written proposal shows host days and every selected experience as separate items.
3. Can you help with hospital visits?
Yes. We provide assistance with appointments and accompaniment, including public hospitals' international departments. Read about health assistance. We are a coordination service, not a medical provider. Clinical decisions rest entirely with the hospital.
4. Who do I contract with, and who delivers the experiences?
You contract with our operating company and receive an itemized written proposal before any payment. Every experience is delivered by licensed local providers.
5. Do I need a visa for China?
That depends on your passport, point of entry, onward journey and current Chinese immigration rules. Some travelers may qualify for the 240-hour visa-free transit policy, but it is not a general visa waiver. We do not give legal advice; verify your exact itinerary with official authorities.
6. Can I enter Shenzhen from Hong Kong for a day trip?
Often, yes, if you hold the right visa or meet a current visa-free route. Choose the crossing based on your Hong Kong starting point and Shenzhen destination, and allow generous immigration time.
7. Will I be forced to shop?
No. Shopping is optional, and hosts do not take merchant commissions. No Forced Shopping is one of our three standing commitments.
8. Is the robotaxi guaranteed?
No. Robotaxi & Future Mobility is offered only when operational and may depend on weather, geofencing, vehicle supply, identity registration and age rules.
9. Can you arrange a factory or supply-chain visit?
Factory & Supply-Chain Visit is arranged case-by-case, confirmed in writing. No company headquarters, factory, laboratory or restricted-area access is promised before that confirmation.
10. What happens if a venue or provider becomes unavailable?
We explain the change and ask the licensed local provider about rescheduling, substitution or refund options. The provider policy listed in your itemized proposal applies to that experience.
11. What are the cancellation terms?
A host day can be cancelled at least 48 hours before its scheduled start without charge. Each experience follows the licensed local provider's cancellation policy, which we state in writing before payment.
12. Can I change my dates, cities or experience choices?
Yes, subject to host and provider availability. We will update the itemized proposal so you can approve any price or policy change in writing.
