2026 Canton Fair: Best Hotels & Transport Routes

First, Determine Your Exhibition Area, Then Book a Cancellable Room

Start by confirming the Phase, Area, Hall, Floor, and Booth of the companies you are visiting. If any of these details are not confirmed, only book rooms with free cancellation options.

If your booth is in Area A or D, compare hotels near Xingang East. For booths in Area B or C, compare hotels near Pazhou. Before booking, use Amap (the map app almost everyone in China uses) from App Store to verify the exact location of the hotel and its distance to the exhibition area. Input the Chinese characters 乐从家具城 (Lècóng Jiājù Chéng) to ensure you get accurate results.

If you need to arrange client dinners, check both the commute to the exhibition and the meeting location. Do not rely solely on the hotel's advertised straight-line distance.

Choosing Among Five Hotel Areas

Pazhou / Xingang East: Ideal if you are primarily focused on attending the fair. These hotels are usually within walking distance but can be the most expensive. Use Amap to input the hotel name and check the distance to Area A/D or Area B/C.

Wanshengwei: Suitable if you want to stay along Line 8 and control accommodation costs. Check the route to the exhibition entrance using Amap's public transport feature and save the morning and evening routes.

Moledasha / Chigang: Choose this area if price is a priority and you are okay with transfers. Use Amap to find the best routes with fewer transfers.

Zhujiang New Town: Convenient for arranging client dinners, though you will need to transfer to reach the exhibition. Input both the exhibition entrance and the dinner location in Amap to compare the two routes.

Yuexiu: Opt for this area if you prefer staying in the old city and are willing to accept a longer commute. Calculate your departure time based on the 9:30 AM opening time.

Use these areas as a decision framework, but always check the actual route on the day of travel. Do not assume that 'nearby' means walkable.

Navigating to Exhibition Areas A, B, C, and D

The official address of the exhibition center is No. 382, Yuejiang Zhong Road, Guangzhou 510335, and it is open from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Before navigating, use the official exhibitor and booth search at Canton Fair Exhibitor List to find the exact Phase, Area, Hall, Floor, and Booth. Record these details and use them in Amap to get the correct route.

Area A: Start from Xingang East Station. Open the walking navigation and input the specific Area, Hall, and Booth. Ensure the route does not end at a generic exhibition address.

Area D: Start from Xingang East Station. Verify the current booth information and choose the correct entrance. Ensure the Area matches the current directory.

Area B: Start from Pazhou Station. Input Area B and the Hall, not just 'Canton Fair.' Ensure the Hall matches your shortlist.

Area C: Start from Pazhou Station. Input Area C and the Hall, then check the exit direction. Ensure the entrance matches the current map.

Do not rely on old booth numbers. Always recheck the official directory and use the current Phase, Area, Hall, Floor, and Booth in Amap.

Routes from Seven Arrival Points to the Exhibition Center

For each route, follow these steps: input the arrival point, input the specific Area/Hall, choose public transport or driving, view the day's results, and save the preferred option.

Baiyun Airport: Compare the new intercity railway, metro, and driving options. Use Amap to compare the intercity and metro routes. Save the driving route as a backup. Consider luggage, late arrival, or excessive transfers.

Guangzhou South Station: Compare public transport and driving. Use Amap to find the route from Guangzhou South Station to the specific Area/Hall. Save the least transfer and shortest walking route. Consider traffic congestion or large samples.

Guangzhou Station: Prioritize public transport, then driving. Use Amap to find the route from Guangzhou Station to the specific Area/Hall. Save a screenshot of the entire route. Consider changes in transfer information.

Guangzhou East Station: Compare public transport and driving. Use Amap to find the route from Guangzhou East Station to the specific Area/Hall. Compare the total travel time and number of transfers. Consider client meetings before entering the exhibition.

Guangzhou Baiyun Station: Compare public transport and driving. Use Amap to find the route from Guangzhou Baiyun Station to the specific Area/Hall. Verify the actual arrival station. Ensure the ticket specifies the correct station.

Pazhou Port: Compare walking, public transport, and driving. Use Amap to find the route from the port to the specific Area/Hall. Choose the feasible route for the day. Consider luggage impact on walking.

Hotels in Guangzhou: Compare public transport and driving. Copy the full hotel address from your booking, use Amap to find the route to the specific Area/Hall. Ensure the hotel address matches your booking.

For train journeys, use the official 12306 English portal at 12306 to verify the station and ticket. Copy the full arrival station name into Amap. Do not use 'Guangzhou' as a substitute for the specific station name.

Verify Five Key Fields Before Booking a Hotel

Before making a payment, ensure you have checked the following fields:

  • Free Cancellation: Check the latest cancellation date and time. Take a screenshot of the terms or switch to a cancellable room if necessary.
  • Breakfast: Confirm the number of people and days included. If unclear, compare the total cost without breakfast.
  • Taxes and Fees: Ensure the order total includes all taxes and fees. Compare the final payable amount.
  • Payment Time: Check if the payment is due now or at the hotel. Note the payment date in your calendar.
  • Correct Branch: Ensure the Chinese name, English name, and full address match. Copy the address into Amap to confirm.

Use Trip.com to book hotels and filter for those that accommodate foreign guests. After filtering, still verify the five key fields and the final order. Trip.com is a reliable platform for hotel bookings.

Document Requirements for Badge Collection

There are two paths for badge collection, each with different document requirements. Do not merge the lists.

Online Pre-Registration, Collect at Remote Point: Bring the pre-registration receipt, valid ID, and company business card. Keep an electronic copy and a printable version of the receipt.

Application via Hong Kong Office: Bring a valid ID, a recent 5cm×4cm photo, and a company business card. Prepare the photo according to this path, and do not assume the photo is a universal requirement. It is safer to bring both the receipt and the photo.

For more details on badge documents and collection points, refer to Canton Fair buyer badge documents and collection points.

138th Session Badge Collection Points: Only for Reference

The 138th session badge collection points are only for reference. Always check the current session's information.

Baiyun Airport: Temporary counter in T2 International Arrival Hall; near Exit 74 of T3 International Arrival. Check the current terminal, exit, and opening hours before landing.

Exhibition Center: Badge collection points at Area B, C, and D. Check the current session's badge collection areas and go to the corresponding Area.

High-Speed Rail Station: Remote badge collection points. Do not rely on previous locations; confirm the current session's announcement.

Pazhou Port: Remote badge collection point. Verify the boat ticket and badge collection time separately.

Designated Hotels: 60 hotels were designated in the 138th session. Only use the current session's list to determine the designated hotels.

Bus services, airport counters, and hotel badge collection points may change. Use the 138th session list only as a reference and not as a definitive guide for the 140th session.

Self-Service Kiosks and Manual Counters: On-Site Navigation

Upon arrival, follow these steps to navigate between self-service kiosks and manual counters:

Self-Service Kiosks: Suitable if the system has your valid pre-registration information and your ID can be recognized. Insert your receipt/QR code and ID, follow the on-screen instructions, and collect your badge. If there is a failure, inconsistency, or the machine prompts for manual processing, proceed to the manual counter.

Manual Counters: Suitable if you need additional verification, have an issue, or need to replace a lost badge. Queue at the manual counter, show your ID and receipt, and follow the staff's instructions. If the staff directs you to a specific verification point, follow their guidance.

In the 138th session, self-service kiosks and manual counters were available at Area B, C, and D. For the 140th session, check the current session's layout and opening times.
